Entry and Departure Requirements
Every person, crafts, Yacht and Vessel arriving in Vanuatu is required to produce for inspection by an immigration officer the following required documents:
Passenger Entry and Departure;
Documents Required:

Vanuatu Passport / Certificate of Identity Or other travel document issued under the Passport Act No.20 of 2009 |
Passport validity must be more than 6 months at the time of arrival. |

Persons from non-exempt countries must also have a valid visa to enter and stay in Vanuatu. (Visa Exempted Countries) |

A return Airline ticket upon arrival |
|
A confirmed accommodation or local address |
Crafts/Yacht and vessels Entry and Departure:
- All crafts, yachts, and vessels must notify the Immigration office before arriving at or departing from a declared port of entry or entering the Vanuatu Maritime Zone.
- The master of a vessel or the commander of an aircraft must provide a list of all officers, crew members, passengers (including passengers in transit), and other persons on board the vessel, yacht, or craft to immigration office.
- Obtain a Certificate of clearance issued by the Director prior departing from a declared port of entry.
Penalty:
Failure to comply with the requirements for entry or departure is considered an offense, and fines or imprisonment may be imposed.
