Description:
The Provisional Investor Visa is a type of Visa given to individuals who maybe outside of Vanuatu or inside Vanuatu and are applying for a visa to reside in Vanuatu for a period of 12 months. The applicant has provided acceptable evidence that he or she has communication correspondent inform of a letter or
email to the Vanuatu Financial Service Commission.
Criteria:
To be eligible for a Provisional Investor visa in Vanuatu, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• The applicant may be outside of Vanuatu or in Vanuatu at the time of his or her application
• The applicant has provided acceptable evidence that he or she has shown interest by way of a communication exchange through email or letter to the Vanuatu Investment Promotion Authority for a Foreign Investment Approval Certificate.
• The applicant has provided proof of sufficient funds with a minimum equivalent to VT10,000,000
• The documents and claims contained in the application are genuine.
Change of status:
Provisional Investor Visa of Vanuatu:
• Is eligible for multiple entry
• Is allowed to change his or her status to only Business Investor Visa
• Is allowed to extend his or her visa subject to prescribe condition and;
• Provides for secondary applicant
The holder of the visa must not engage in any employment and must not apply under any variations of the terms and conditions of the Vanuatu Investment Promotion Authority certificate.
Fees:
The visa application charge for Provisional Investor Visa in Vanuatu is 51,500Vatu.

Validity:
A Provisional Investor visa for Vanuatu is valid for a maximum period of 12 months.

The Business Investor Visa is a type of visa given to individuals who maybe
outside of Vanuatu or inside Vanuatu and are applying for a visa to reside in
Vanuatu for a period of 3 years. The applicant has been granted a Foreign
Investment Approval Certificate by the Vanuatu Investment Promotion
Authority.
Criteria:
To be eligible for a Business Investor Visa in Vanuatu, applicants must meet
the following criteria:
• The applicant maybe outside of Vanuatu or in Vanuatu at the time of his
or her application
• The applicant has provided certificate of registration from Vanuatu
Financial Service Commission
• The applicant has provided valid business licence from relevant
authorities to operate in Vanuatu
• The applicant has provided a proof of business bank account from a
bank operating in Vanuatu and the physical establishment of the
business and that the business is fully operational
• The documents and claims contained in the application are genuine.
Change of status:
Business Investor visa of Vanuatu:
• Is eligible for multiple entry
• Is allowed to extend his or her visa subject to prescribe conditions
• Is allowed to change his or her visa status to a Direct Investor or a
Permanent Investor visa and;
• Provides for secondary applicant
The holder of the visa must not engage in any employment outside the context
of proposed investment.

The Direct Investor Visa is a type of visa given to individuals who maybe outside of Vanuatu or inside Vanuatu and are applying for a visa to reside in Vanuatu. The applicant provides proof of the assets in country of value more than VT20,000,000.
Criteria:
To be eligible for a Direct Investor Visa in Vanuatu, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• The applicant maybe outside of Vanuatu or in Vanuatu at the time of his or her application
• The location of the applicant at the time of grant maybe outside of Vanuatu or in Vanuatu
• The applicant provides a copy of the Vanuatu Financial Services Certificate
• The applicant provides a copy of the Vanuatu Foreign Investment Promotion Authority Certificate
• The applicant provides a copy of the business license.
• The applicant provides proof of the assets in country of value more than VT20,000,000
Change of status:
Direct Investor Visa of Vanuatu:
• Is eligible for multiple entry
• Is allowed to change his or her visa status to an Investor visa or a Leasehold Owner visa • Is allowed to extend his or her visa subject to prescribe condition The holder of the visa may establish and conduct business activities subject to normal business requirements.
Fees:
The visa application charge for Direct Investor Visa in Vanuatu is 309,000 Vatu. Ensure that all fees are paid when applying for the visa. Incomplete or partially complete application will not be accepted.
Validity:
A Direct Investor Visa for Vanuatu is Valid for a maximum period of 8 years.
Description:
The Permanent Investor Visa is a type of visa given to individuals who maybe
outside Vanuatu or inside Vanuatu and are applying for a visa to reside in
Vanuatu indefinitely. The applicant must be holder of a class of investor visa
and has spent a continuous period of at least 10 years residing lawfully in
Vanuatu.
Criteria:
To be eligible for a Permanent Investor Visa in Vanuatu, applicants must meet
the following criteria:
• The applicant maybe outside or in Vanuatu at the time of his or her application
• The location of the applicant at the time of grant may be outside of Vanuatu or in Vanuatu
• If the applicant lawfully owns a business in Vanuatu for at least 10 years, the Director must be satisfied that:
▪ The applicant maintains an ownership or management interest in a business
▪ The business activities of the applicant are providing ongoing employment and training opportunities for Vanuatu citizens and
▪ The applicant has met the required obligations for taxation and labour requirements
• If the applicant has maintained a substantial direct investment in Vanuatu for at least 10 years and that the investment remains in place
• The applicant has provided a proof of assets in the country with value
of more than VT50,000,000.
Change of status:
The Permanent Investor Visa of Vanuatu is eligible for multiple entry, allows
for extension of visa and provides for secondary applicant. The holder of this
visa is not allowed to change his or her visa status.
Fees:
The visa application charge for a Permanent Investor visa in Vanuatu is 3,090,000 Vatu

Validity:
The duration of Permanent Investor Visa for Vanuatu is Indefinite.
