Transit visa is given to any traveler who is not intending to leave the airport proclaimed area within 24 hours.  If traveler is intending to leave the proclaimed area, he/she must apply or opt for a tourist visa. Checklist

1	Transit Visa Application form – completed and signed by you (health and character questions answered on application form)
2	Visa application charge paid                    * 1800 vatu
3	Valid passport or [if you are outside Vanuatu] Certified copy of bio-data page and all used pages of a valid passport you will use to transit Vanuatu
4	Travel itinerary or other evidence of confirmed onward booking to travel from Vanuatu to a place outside Vanuatu
5	Evidence of required documentation for entry to the other country (such as a visa or permit)
