Eligibility

Existing Residence Special Purpose Permit for Yacht Owners and Crew Documentary Requirements

Criteria

1. The Department reserves all rights to acquire additional documents for further verification, as and when required;
2. Where a question in a particular section does not apply to you please put N/A;
3. Providing false information in this application can lead to imprisonment or a fine or both;
4. Permit is only issued to yachts which are legally in Fiji;
5. The permit becomes null and void once the yacht exits Fiji;
6. Co-extensive permits apply under this category;
7. Applicant will be required to pay application fee at the time of lodgment;
8. Applicant will be required to pay for Issue and Bond Fee once permit is approved.

You must:-

• lodged one (1) month prior to the expiry date of the permit;
• complete prescribed Residence Permit application New/Extension form click here;
• submit photographs less than 6 months old, good quality colour, full-face view of your head and shoulders and taken against a plain or light coloured background;
• complete prescribed Residence Permit application New/Extension form click here;
• submit Copy of Immigration Entry Clearance;
• Copy of Approved cruising permit issued by Ministry of I-Taukei Affairs;
• The Department reserves all rights to acquire additional documents for further verification as and when required;
