Description

The Interim Visa in Vanuatu is a special type of visa that can only be granted by the Director of Immigration. This visa is intended for individuals who have submitted an application for a Residence Visa and are likely to undertake specified employment in Vanuatu during the processing of their residence application. Additionally, members of the family of a person holding an Interim Visa may also be eligible to receive an Interim Visa with the same duration as the primary visa holder. The primary purpose of the Interim Visa is to allow applicants to facilitate their residence application process or complete their residential application.

Criteria

To be eligible for an Interim Visa in Vanuatu, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • The applicant must have submitted an application for a Residence Visa in Vanuatu.
  • The Director of Immigration must be satisfied that the applicant is likely to undertake specified employment in Vanuatu during the processing of their residence application.
  • Interim Visas may also be extended to eligible family members of the primary applicant.
  • The Interim Visa will be granted for a period not exceeding 30 days.

How To Apply

  3. If the Director is satisfied that you are likely to undertake specified employment in Vanuatu while your residence application is processed, you may be granted an Interim Visa.
  4. The Interim Visa will be issued to you, allowing you to facilitate your residence application or complete the necessary steps for your residential status.
